About Naturally Africa

Naturally Africa was founded in 2004 by Marc Crouch, motivated by a love for Africa, its wildlife, wilderness and welcoming people. At Naturally Africa we wish to share with you our knowledge and passion for Africa and will provide a personal touch and care in planning your trip, so that it is that extra bit special for you.

Marc has lived in and travelled extensively and independently across Africa, totalling over 6 years spent there.  He drove from the UK to South Africa across the north and down the eastern side of the continent, before deciding to drive back again, but through the west, visiting 30 countries and circumnavigating the continent.  His time in Africa has taken him to many of Africa’s less explored corners and revealed some secrets away from the usual tourist routes.  As a professionally qualified field guide Marc has personally guided many visitors on their African wildlife safari, visited and worked in many of the best reserves in Africa and developed his knowledge and passion for Africa’s wildlife. 

At Naturally Africa we have taken the time to combine this knowledge and a carefully selected portfolio of accommodation and crafted tour itineraries to offer you some exceptional travel ideas.  We have also paid specific attention to the benefits for both the local communities and conservation of the wildlife and natural areas that you will visit during your travel when selecting and designing our itineraries.  Information about this can be found within the individual travel Africa pages and we believe should be a key factor in planning your trip, because a commitment to these responsible travel values will also be reflected in the personal service and care that you receive while you are there.

We believe that Africa should be enjoyed by everyone and so have clearly identified the most suitable lodges and reserves for family safaris and created some example itineraries for a family holiday that will keep the kids entertained and will allow you time to relax.  We also offer a variety of holidays for people with disabilities and have compiled a selection of disabled tours and safaris in Africa.
