Swakopmund

In one of the least densely populated countries in the world Swakopmund is a picturesque coastal town where you can discover a little of Namibia’s colonial history and architecture and well worth a visit. Relax at one of the streetside cafes during the day and dine at excellent seafood restaurants at night.

Alternatively, why not view Swakopmund, the ocean and surrounding desert from a different angle; diving from a plane at 10,000 feet!  Swakopmund is also the adventure capital of Namibia and adrenaline junkies in search of extreme sports are spoilt for choice.  You can charge through the desert on a quad bike, carve down the dunes on a sandboard, or slow down and leisurely drift over in a hot air balloon.
