Tsitsikamma Canopy Tour

Zip through the trees like Tarzan and Jane!

Enjoy the unequalled beauty of the magnificent Tsitsikamma Forest while traversing 30 metres above the forest floor.

The tour consists of several long cable slides of up to 175 metres long that are joined together by platforms built high within the canopies of giant Yellowwood trees.  Standing within the crown of these giants and looking down at the lush forest floor below is an unforgettable experience.  Hold your breath as you slide from tree to tree, stopping at each new platform for your guide to tell you a little more about the surrounding ecology.  If you are fortunate you may spot a pair of Knysna Loeries, or the brilliant red plumage of the elusive Narina Trogon.

The canopy tour experience begins with a safety briefing and demonstration, at the end of which you will be kitted out with harness, pulley, climbing equipment and safety helmet.  You will then be transported into the forest to the start of the canopy tour accompanied by your guides.

The tour ends with a short walk out of the forest to your waiting vehicle and you return to the reception for refreshments.
