Wildlife, Ecology and Conservation Trips

NaturallyAfrica organises unique trips on which you will discover a little more about the wildlife, ecology and conservation of the game reserve and wilderness areas of southern Africa than you would be able to on other safaris. You may, for example, like to explore the dunes of the Kalahari on a walking safari with an expert in desert ecology, shadow a researcher working with small predators, or observe a reserve ecologist, or veterinary surgeon performing an operation in the field. The experiences that we are able to offer provide an unforgettable insight into the natural environment and the interactions and behaviour of African wildlife.

Conservation and Research Projects

NaturallyAfrica provides the opportunity for individuals, groups and communities to become involved in voluntary conservation and scientific field research and education. Through our own initiatives and projects and in collaboration with other organisations we facilitate work experience placements and the ideas of research scientists interested in carrying out project work in southern Africa.

We are currently working together with The Nature College on a conservation and research project in the Succulent Karoo. This region of South Africa has an exceptional biodiversity and hence offers numerous valuable research prospects. This project is primarily aimed at students who are interested in pursuing a career in the fields of biology, ecology, conservation, or the environment. However, we welcome enquiries from anyone who may be interested in participating in, or supporting our efforts.
