Mount Kilimanjaro

Towering above the surrounding farmlands and open plains the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa, is an incredible spectacle.

Kilimanjaro draws hundreds of keen trekkers, or just those seeking a challenge, each year and as it is not necessary to have climbing experience, or equipment to reach the peak it is even more popular. However, Kili is a challenge not to be underestimated and we recommend taking your time if you want to be successful in reaching the summit!

The longer, better-organised treks will allow you time to enjoy the scenery, as you ascend through rainforest, meadows and across barren, rocky terrain and to acclimatise to the change in altitude.
